Glenro's high efficiency electric infrared heaters emit infrared heat across a broad band of medium and long wavelengths for easy absorption by most products for predrying, drying, curing, preheating and process heating applications. Resistive metal infrared heating elements are mounted on high temperature insulation backings and radiate directly at the product for efficient infrared heating. No ceramic, quartz or glass faces inhibit the infrared heat or retain heat on shutdown. When turned off, the elements lose heat so rapidly your product won't be damaged by residual heat on line stops, and our infrared heater elements reach operating temperature in seconds on startup preventing delays-thus the name Rapid Response.

Radplane infrared heaters do a lot of process heating in tight spaces by delivering up to 4800 watts per square foot at temperatures up to 1500ƒF. Glenro infrared heaters are available in many sizes and can be configured to heat even the widest products uniformly. Input voltages range from 115 through 575. We can mount infrared elements either in machine direction, across machine direction or skewed to provide the most uniform heating. Our infrared heating elements are made of corrugated ribbon foil, expanded metal or sinuated wire, depending on the electrical configuration and energy requirements of your application.
