Quartz Tube Infrared
Glenro quartz tube infrared heaters pack massive energy transfer into small spaces. They deliver 50-100 watts per linear inch of clean, quiet heat. Heaters are available with medium wave or short wave tubes. Series 262 and 263 heaters use medium wave quartz tubes, while Series 251 is a high intensity T-3 tube model.

T-3 quartz tubes can develop temperatures as high as 4000°F for applications that require intense heat. Quartz tube systems offer excellent multi-zone control across wide webs.

In many cases Glenro uses gold-backed quartz tubes, which direct heat towards the product for high energy efficiency. The reflective gold backing also eliminates the need for insulated reflectors, which can release contaminants into the product stream.

Some coating and printing applications need intense heat applied to the web because of high process speeds.
