Radround infrared heaters use a quartz cylinder combined with a resistive metal heating element. As the quartz cylinder gets hot, it becomes an emitter of infrared heat. Product passing through the infrared heater receives uniform heat from all directions, and any heat not transferred to the product is resorbed by the quartz cylinder.
