Adhesive Coatings

Adhesive Coatings

Whether your application is drying water-based or solvent-based adhesives, applying powder adhesives or using web adhesives, Glenro understands the heat sensitivity of adhesives and how to apply energy without skinning or blistering. We welcome the opportunity to learn more about your process so, together, we can find ways to increase your operating line speeds and product revenue.

Preheat

  • Adhesives on release liners, paper and film prior to hot air dryers; typically increases line speed
  • Adhesive Coatings
  • Heat-activate roll coated adhesives and hot melt adhesives prior to laminating
  • Flow powder adhesives on foam prior to fabric lamination (automotive interiors)
  • Film and paper substrates prior to hot melt adhesives to improve bond for extrusion coating and laminating

Dry

  • Pressure sensitive adhesives on release liner, film or paper (tapes, labels)
  • Cold seal adhesives (co adhesives)
  • Adhesive Coatings
  • Adhesives on foam prior to lamination (dashboards-laminate vinyl to foam)
  • Pressure sensitive adhesives for transdermal delivery systems

Postheat

  • Solvent-based adhesives to remove residual solvent

Bond

  • Laminates with powder or web adhesives
