We can design processes and supply equipment which will reliably and profitably process your fabric. Here are some representative applications for which we have supplied Proven Solutions®.

Glenro has particular expertise in the processing of silicone and PTFE.

Heat

  • Heat-clean and carmelize glass fabric (e-glass, welding curtains, gloves)
  • B-stage phenolic resin and epoxy on glass fabric (prepregs)
  • Anneal monofilament woven belts (paper maker belts)
  • Heatset polyester knit fabrics and nylon flocked fabrics

Dry

  • Adhesive on duct tape
  • Silane on glass fabric
  • Urethane coatings on fabric
  • Sizing on polyester belting
  • Residual moisture from fabric prior to carmelizing, B-staging a saturated resin or PVC impregnation
  • Dry, bake and sinter PTFE on fiberglass (belting, e-glass, c-glass, s-glass, roofing)

Cure

  • Calendered silicone on fabric (roofing membrane, surgical gowns)
  • Silicone saturated fabric
  • Pre-cure rubber coated fabrics to reduce roll pick-off (air bags)

High Temperaturue Material Solutions

Dry: Residual moisture from fabric prior to carmelizing, B-staging a saturated resin or PVC impregnation
